About the learning:

The Winneconne school library program is designed to assist students in the learning process. All aspects of the library curriculum aligns with the goals of the district. The librarian works cooperatively with teachers to provide a connected curriculum, both through lessons taught in the library and co-teaching within classrooms.

Print and Web Resources:

All 4K-5th classes participate in experiences that build library, literacy, research and information skills. At the elementary level, the library provides a foundation of skills using print resources. Students also gain a digital literacy base by successfully “evaluating, selecting, using, and citing” online websites and databases. Working with teachers, students will use many tools to evaluate and select a range of topics, books and other sources to ensure that every students has good content for their research.
